Often ordered alongside
Twelve years, two national emergencies, and one gap we could not ignore.
The sourcing side of this business goes back more than twelve years. Through the 2019 and 2020 bushfire season, and again through the pandemic, that network was put to work supporting Commonwealth and state government bodies at the point where ordinary supply chains had stopped functioning. Lead times were counted in days, specifications moved weekly, and the difference between a compliant product and a merely plausible one mattered more than it ever had.
What followed was the harder problem. The market flooded. Product arrived from everywhere, a great deal of it undocumented and some of it not what the carton claimed. Buyers had more choice than they had ever had, and less ability than ever to tell one carton from another.
So in 2023 we stepped back from supply and established Suny Consulting Group to work the other side of it: Australian sponsorship, product testing and accreditation support for the manufacturers and importers trying to enter this market properly. Three years spent reading technical files rather than selling out of them.
Suny Medical is the return to supply. The same network and the same relationships, now with three years of knowing exactly how a product fails an audit. We are back to selling stock, and we are a good deal harder to fool than we were in 2019.

Medical consumables are only as good as the file behind them, and we spent three years assessing those files on behalf of other people before we went back to selling stock. Every line we supply carries batch and expiry traceability, and we hold the supporting documentation so it is there when an accreditation visit asks for it rather than three weeks later.
